The Trolling Jobu is big game fishing’s ultimate trolling hook. Many fishermen have used stainless hooks for trolling due to corrosion resistance. High Carbon hooks are superior in all other categories including strength by diameter, which allow better hook up ratios due to smaller wire diameters. The Trolling Jobu includes Rustop attached to its shank which acts as a sacrificial anode to attract corrosion away from the hook. Rustop extends the life of high carbon hooks, allowing angler’s to troll for days with the same hook. When pitting becomes evident on the Rustop, simply replace it. Many marlin fatalities occur when a fish is hooked and lost but a stainless hook remains lodged in the fish, never corroding out. Trolling Jobus eventually “rust out,” reducing fish mortality rates. Features of this hook include vacuum tin finish for improved corrosion resistance and Owner’s patented Cutting Point that never needs to be sharpened.
